Why is prescription importation important to you?

I get two major medications from NorthWest Pharmacy. I am on medicare and the drugs are not covered under the plan D. I would not sleep at night because of leg cramps! The other med keeps my prostate from swelling and GOD only knows what the doctors would have to do if that happened! Honestly I have been getting my two medications from Canada Northwest Pharmacy for so many years that I only know their price. But I know when I first ordered it was some thing I could afford. They are the best people to deal with = there was a order that I beleive I got wrong and they sent it - when I told them wrong medicine and my fault - they said not to worry and sent the correct on with NO CHARGE!! That is a business you want to continue on!!!!!! I really don't know what I will do if they are shut down - my physical conditions will, I am sure, go down a lot!!!

This prescription is important to my 6 year old daughter Lucy Cerna she was diagnosed with congenital hyperinsulinism. She is currently prescribed 1.7 ml liquid diazoxide 50 mg per ml. If Lucy doesn’t take her medicine it can result in frequent low blood sugar associated with brain damage, coma or even death.

I would die sooner if I couldn't access lower drug prices through importation. I have COPD. In Puerto Rico, the deductible from my medical insurance plan is $500. In Canada, I buy it for $124, shipping include, no medical plan included. I could NOT purchase my medicine were it not for Canada!!!!

My wife and I both order our Synthroid to treat our thyroid conditions. The 90-day supply ordered in the US costs us over $700 for the two of us. Ordering the same quantity from Canada is $314. Ordering this medication provides considerable savings unavailable to us in the US. Without it, we would experience considerable hardship.

Prescription importation is important to me because of lower COST! This prescription can cost as much as $245.00. I was able to purchase it through Good RX for $124.00 within the United States. I was able to purchase RX in Canada for $58.00. There was no way I could afford this at US prices.

Previous cost in the US - $139.00. Import cost - $43.00. It helped us afford more of the essentials that make retirement more about what it's all about, spending time with family.

I would not be able to afford my required medication for life due to the price. Humana costs $1600 and my copay currently is $692. In Canada I pay $104.95 for three months.
