About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

The Campaign for Personal Prescription Importation (CPPI) is a national nonprofit patient advocacy organization that fights for Americans’ access to safe, affordable prescription medications from Canada for personal use. Tens of millions of Americans – especially the elderly and others on fixed incomes – struggle to pay the extremely high price of prescription medications in the U.S. We are here to be their voice.

Millions of Americans use licensed Canadian pharmacies annually, to purchase their daily prescription medications at an affordable price. We believe that all Americans have a right to affordable medications. It’s time to change the current U.S. policy on this issue to provide immediate access to life-saving medications, taken daily for chronic health conditions, at affordable prices.

WHAT WE DO

ADVOCACY & AWARENESS

We believe Congress should act to ensure full access to safe, affordable daily prescription medications from legitimate, licensed Canadian pharmacies. Bipartisan legislation has been introduced time-and-again for more than a decade to address this issue with a common-sense approach.

With the help of tens of thousands of supporters, we are working to ensure our elected officials understand the impact of high drug prices on consumers across the U.S. and act to provide reasonable access to safe, affordable prescriptions from Canada.

EDUCATION & RESOURCES

Personal prescription importation has been used safely by millions of Americans for more than a decade when using certified, trusted, and legitimate Canadian pharmacies. These Americans access licensed Canadian pharmacies who use the Internet to display available medications and then call in, give the pharmacy their valid prescription, and have a conversation about their health and other medications.

Americans have come to trust Canada for safe, affordable medications, in large part because the FDA and its Canadian counterpart, Health Canada, have equivalent safety standards for prescription medications.

Help us fight for the right of every American to access safe and affordable daily prescription medications.
