DRUG PRICES WILL KEEP RISING IN 2016

Prescription drug costs are projected to increase between 11-13% in 2016. There appears to be no end in sight to the trend of high drug prices. The big pharmaceutical companies can charge whatever they want for their products, and they have no problem exercising that ability. Insurance companies cope by charging higher insurance premiums, deductibles and copays. What is the average American supposed to do? All too often they are simply forced to pay the higher costs and compensate by cutting back somewhere else.

The fact that prescription drug costs are not going to stop or even slow down this year probably doesnā€™t surprise anyone. For too many Americans soaring drug prices have become more than a nuisance, they are a quality of life issue. Too many Americans are being forced to choose between food, rent or even retirement and their medications.

Drug companies have the unlimited ability to raise their prices at will. In response to this, millions of Americans have found significant drug savings by ordering their medications online from Canada. Americans need personal importation. It is an immediate and effective solution to the problem of high drug prices in the U.S.
